I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support over the past few months with the Opal Rainforest Collection.  As you know the Rainforest Collection was designed and promoted as “Knitting For The Rainforest Project”.  A percentage of the proceeds from sales of Opal Rainforest Yarn by the German Factory; TUTTO GmbH, and their Distributors around the World have been outstanding!

I received an email from the Owner of TUTTO GmbH; Wolfgang Zwerger, thanking all of us for our participation in making the Rainforest Project a huge success.  Here is the English translation version through Google in a short form.

 “To all of you who have supported our project, thank you for your donations.  Yesterday I transferred all the donations to the organization “Save The Rainforest” in Hamburg, Germany.  A total sum of $15.003.97 Euro was collected in a rather short time frame.

We plan to resume our action “Save The Rainforest” in the New Year 2006.  We are planning to unveil a new Rain Forest Collection with 8 different animals in the coming year.  From all of the donations collected we can all be proud to realize that 22,500 m2 of Rainforest will be saved.
